Abstract: To research the designers'design thinking state and the inner cognitive rules in design,and to lay the foundation for system design especially for innovative design,the concept of design thinking was discussed.The theoretical research of design thinking was analyzed from theoretical foundation,model building,external manifestations and influence.The research techniques and methods for design thinking were elaborated,and the further trend was explored further.The analysis for research status and trends of design thinking would provide useful references for understanding the essence thinking rules and promoting the generation of design innovation.
